Queen size bed conversion nearly complete. New Imtra led rope light on the ceiling. Leesa mattress on the queen and Tuft and Needle mattress on the day bed (custom sized) to test them for the rest of the boat. New bedding is not in yet from Restoration Hardware. Curtain rods didn’t make it in time, so I rerouted them to be delivered in Racine tomorrow (the new curtains are just draped over the old ones.). Replacement flooring just arrived today and didn’t get installed (Patched what we had)…. but here is a preview. Close enough to done to show off at the boat show. #missmarianne #racinebound
I think most of you know how I almost lost Ella #nauticinderella to hurricane Matthew, and that I also live in Texas… Now the trifecta of hurricanes is heading towards her again this year in Florida (Irma, Jose and Depression #13). I can’t even begin to tell you how tired I am of hurricanes right now. But many of you have asked me and she seems to be in a very good place for what is heading her way. See is probably 3 hours from the coast by boat pretty far up the St John’s River. All 16 batteries are charged, she’s got 3 bilge systems (110, 12v, 36v, and a back up badass pump that runs off the starter bank), fenders are out, lines are checked… And I am the crazy one with a flight back to Florida on Tuesday if it looks bad. Thank you to all who are concerned and asking :-)[fb_vid id=”10155393935918145″]11PM IRMA UPDATE: Potentially catastrophic Hurricane Irma is threatening the Caribbean with 185mph winds. Tropical Storm Jose could become a hurricane by Wednesday night and Tropical Depression 13 in the western Gulf is expected to follow suit in the next few days.
